Damn this is sick. As far as the instrumental goes, I love that I keep finding myself starting to get into a groove, nodding my head and all, but then it gets all disrupted and suddenly I'm being surprised by what's going on. I love music that keeps me on my toes like that.

And for vocal delivery - the cadence is what really sells this for me. The way the words flow from one to another is great. Really into it. Looking forward to checking out your album you posted here too.

SkankyMojo responds:

Thank you so much! 😍 This has just made my day. ♥️

Not bad. 1:40 in is the best part, and I like the bit following that too. First and last sections kinda bored me but overall I am definitely liking what you're doing with your percussion. Also sampling good.

Excuse me, wtf? When did you get so good at this?

So, for the most part, I think this is gosh dang neat as hell. I was intrigued but not convinced for the first minute and a half of this, but when that drum beat kicked in you got an audible "Woah!" out of me and I started really grooving. Until maybe... a full minute or so of virtually the exact same drum beat. I appreciate what you were doing with the addition of new instruments but it didn't make up for the fact that the beat itself was getting very samey and nothing sufficiently substantial was changing.

So in short, this is absolutely the right direction but I want you to pay more attention to details and intricacies in order to get more variation and surprises.

I love you, please keep making music.

This is great. I sure love me some noise pop. The hectic nature that starts about 1:20 is fantastic and the bass makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I can't help but wish this was longer but I guess that means I should just listen to the album haha! Great stuff as always

I dig this, really groovey in the first half with an emotional ending. If I were to change anything about it, it's that I would bring back that dancey beat from about 48 seconds in at the end. I get that it's a stylistic choice, but I felt like for the last minute of the song we were building to a release that never arrived. Still though, like I said, I see it as a cool stylistic choice, and it was really nice that this piece had a lot of strong changes and didn't fall into any severe repetition. Really nice work!

AlbeGian responds:

Thank you GoodL!! Yeah that part was one of my favourite moments of the song, I'll try to bring that feeling back in future songs and give it a better use. To be honest, I think the structure of the song is super messed up and notoriously rushed too, at the point of thinking it almost doesn't have one, so I'll also try to organize my music better for the future. Really glad you liked it!

lmao littlbeatbox. Love it :) Fun stuff, and it's cool that you opened up this inktober idea for collabs too, could be some room for interesting stuff in there if more people step up! Keep it up, cd!

Cyberdevil responds:

Yeah I'm thinking it might keep the inspiration flowing too. :) This certainly did. Glad you liked and will do! Btw, I realized I never really elaborated on how I came up with the idea of doing Inktober with audio on the pod, basically: I want to focus more on audio, and I feel like this could be the springboard I need to become more active with this, both good practice and a running start into future projects. I write most of this by hand too, so the ink technicality works. Maybe you read that in the first one though. Idea: not sure where I got that! Though I hope I'm the first to get it. Would be cool to start somethin' here.

why is this tagged "michael-jackson"?

There'll be no more pushing Joe around :/

Rest in peace, Daniel.

Lovely rendition you got here, littlbox.

I love this. Has a really nostalgic feel for me, like it reminds me of stuff I would have listened to in high school in a very nice way. Good stuff, keep it up!

This was a really cool episode, Will. The Madness community is something I've never understood, but always been curious about. So it was cool to learn about where it came from and hear from some of the artists involved in pushing that community forward. It was also really interesting to hear you stumble across a NSFW artist to interview, and getting to hear that brain-picking going on organically was really neat.
Also if you really want dirt on me, just look at the old content I posted when I was younger. I, like you, was a kid growing up on the internet. My dirt lies in the absolute garbage I posted as a literal child lol.
Props to all the guests, definitely interesting interview all around, and I'm still really into these Roundtable episodes, so keep it up! Good luck getting to 100 fans, GP. :)
